Group exhibition at Pupille Reutlingen 2023
“momentaufnahme” (momentary) is the motto of the 15 anniversary exhibition of Produzentengalerie Pupille in Reutlingen from 15. Jan until 19. Feb 2023. The exhibtion is a showcase of the gallery’s artists – including Jochen Warth.

Creation of a stainless steel sculpture
The pictures are a bit older, but since I am often asked how my sculptures are created technicall , I want like to show them here. The photos are from the work on a large three-piece stainless steel sculpture back in 2006. The photos show how much force in needed to keep the inox steel in shape during welding, because stainless steel bends enormously under the welding heat.
New wooden sketches
In between I mad some more of my “sketches” as I call cute little wooden sculptures. As always (this is the rule of the game), the small wooden steles are made from one single piece without glue or dowels. I also gave them all a white glaze so that the wood structure is less prominent. More photos are availbale on the sculptures page.




Corona Output 2021
The Corona lockdown periods have been quite productive. I found time and energy to tackle “complicated things” and experiment with new forms. Among others, a sculpture was completed that required more than 3,000 welding spots. Here are a few photos of recent work:
